About the Day….
Natalie & Lukaas’ wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Each vendor flowed smoothly through the schedule, transitioning easily from ceremony to reception. Auburn Bridal had the opportunity to work with some of the highest of quality vendors, many of whom are on our preferred vendor list, allowing us to help ensure excellent service to the Rollers. This sweet couple made our job easy, kept us ahead of schedule and allowed us to craft a day for them that went on without a single hitch.
About the Venue….
In the city's center at the Paper Mill on the Landing, this stylish downtown wedding showed off not only the Roller’s romantic style, but showcased their love for each other in intimate and beautiful moments. The Paper Mill has the perfect mix of rustic and modern, allowing Natalie to choose decor that didn’t need to overpower the room. What enhanced the urban charm was the perfect blend of colors she chose: blush, mauve, very pale yellow, plum, green and burgandy. The ceremony was held in the center of the space, with the old Paper Mill chute nestled behind the back row of guest chairs. Reception tables surrounding the ceremony space, tucking the buffet tables and drink bar out out of the way. This layout is not the common choice at the Paper Mill, but I argue it to be the best. The atmosphere of Natalie & Lukaas’ day was filled with joy, laughter, and love, embodying the spirit of a vibrant city celebration.
A Special Highlight….
This was not Auburn Bridal’s first time working with Brett at I Do Crew, but it was the first time we have seen his expanding DJ booth in action. It was beyond impressive! During the ceremony, everything was folded in and tucked out of the way. In the transition moment between ceremony and reception, our team worked hard to get chairs moved and the head table in place, opening up the dance floor. In truly what felt like a matter of seconds, I watched as Brett had his station moved to the reception space, unfurled and ready to go. I cannot recommend him and his team enough!
